Pacific Northwest Vocalist + Songwriter

Gina DeNoble is a vocalist and songwriter currently living in the Portland, Oregon area. She plays guitar and delivers deep, textured, resonant, sultry vocals. Having grown up a stone’s throw from Mount Rainier National Park, she’s a dyed-in-the-wool Pacific Northwesterner! Her debut full-length album entitled Wanderer’s Paradise is currently streaming on all major platforms. The songs on the album were written while she was traveling regularly between Washington, Canada, and Alaska.

Gina returned to the stage in 2023 after an almost 15-year hiatus from giving public performances. She has since been playing at venues and festivals around the Pacific Northwest region. She made her debut at Seattle’s Northwest Folklife Festival, returned to the beloved mountain lodge where she lived as a teen and wrote several of the songs on her album, played an off-grid outdoor hydroelectric-powered concert at Breitenbush Hot Springs, helped kick off the Washougal Songcraft Festival, and was a featured guest on the national radio program River City Folk with Tom May.

"Beautiful, heart-stopping set" -Alison

Compact Discs

Want to be able to pretend it’s the early aughts, and listen to this music the way it was meant to be heard…on a good ol’ fashioned compact disc?! Well, I’ve got you covered! If you shoot me $15, and a good mailing address, and I’ll fire off a treasure you can hold in your hand. Featuring a full-color 8-page booklet, and a bunch of extraneous plastic, it’s sure to trigger your nostalgia for a simpler time. Enjoy it on a Discman you pick up at the Goodwill, in your pre-2010-model car, or on the old stereo (you know, the six CD changer with the two huge speakers on either side) that is likely still stored somewhere at your parents’ house.

107.7 The End's Making an End Band

One of Gina’s early experiences with collaborative songwriting and performance was during her time as the lead singer of Perfect Strangers, the product of Seattle alternative radio station 107.7 The End’s promotion “Making An End Band”. In 2001, at the age of 16, she was voted in by 107.7 The End listeners across the Seattle region. Five exceptional instrumentalists (awesome guys with whom she is still in touch today) were also voted in and, together, they formed the band. All six musicians were strangers to one another at the start of the project, hence the name. They were tasked with writing three original songs in preparation to open for nationally-touring artists at Board This! a snowboard-themed outdoor winter concert at Snoqualmie Pass. The three songs ended up representing the various musicians’ different styles: straight up rock, punk, and funk. Gina was responsible for writing the lyrics. This experience remains one of the most formative along Gina’s musical journey.
